Rich and flavoursome, the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Robusto Corto offers around an hour of pleasure or a little more if smoked slowly. Measuring 5 1/4" x 52 ring gauge, this Nicaraguan Short Robusto is a testimony to the skills that abound at the factory. Plascencia has used leaf that is between 8 and 12 years old to ensure a smooth product with plenty going on in the flavour department.  A dark and oily Nicaraguan Habano wrapper starts things off, the binder is Nicaraguan, and the fillers are from Esteli, Condega, Jalapa and Ometepe, ensuring a truly exceptional finish. Light up and initially you are aware of pepper and spice that subsides to reveal notes of Leather and wood, the smooth creamy profile soon shows itself and notes of espresso come through. Medium to full bodied, there's bags of flavour that needs to be taken slowly, why rush?
