The Passatore Aida is a well-made briar pipe. There is a good amount of wood in the bowl to ensure it doesn't get too hot in your hand. The briar bowls have had a red-brown stain applied which lets the grain show and are then treated with a high polish lacquer finish. The black acrylic mouthpiece is separated from the shank by a thin composite ring, which is just enough to give the pipe a bit of eye appeal without overdoing it. Please note this is a 9mm filter pipe, it is sold without a filter or 9mm converter. The pipe has a dustbag and is boxed.
