The Jean Rustic Wave briar is a great entry-level pipe that is well made and, if properly maintained, will give years of pleasure. The brown stained bowl is unusual due to its part rustication, and bound to be a talking point with another pipe man. The black acrylic mouthpiece takes a 9mm charcoal filter (one fitted), with a thin gold-coloured band for decoration. The pipe is comfortable to hold with a good bowl size.
