The company was founded in 1912 by Arturo Fuente Sr, and located in Ybor City, Florida, which at that time was home to some 200 different factories.  Primarily a brand local to Tampa, in the 1970s, Arturo Sr. and his son Carlos decided to move the company to Nicaragua in search of new markets.  The revolution there forced the company to relocate to the Dominican Republic, where it is still based today. Chateu Fuente Natural are created from tobacco cultivated in the rich soils of Dominica. Medium bodied with a superb flavour and much loved by aficionados the Chateau Fuente Natural measures 4 1/2" x 50 ring gauge.  The Connecticut shade wrapper is partly cedar wrapped, which adds to the mystique, the binder is Dominican and so is the filler, all cultivated on the Chateau de la Fuente estate.  Light up and straight away there's notes of coffee and cedar, dark chocolates comes in waves with some pepper.  There's plenty of creamy smooth smoke carrying these great flavours that combine perfectly.  Like every Fuente, you don't smoke this cigar, you experience it.
