Wynne A 17th century French pirate, Emmanuel Wynne has the distinction of being the first pirate to fly the Jolly Roger. His career (of which not a lot is known) was initially spent off the Carolina coast plundering English merchant ships. He later moved to The Caribbean and widened his prey to include Spanish as well as English ships. He evaded capture off the Cape Verde islands by the Royal Navy but there are no known records of his later years. This cool smoking rough-cut blend of Virginias, Dark-Fired Kentucky, and Black Cavendish is flavoured with a touch of rum, honey, vanilla, and goji berry which is similar to the cranberry. The result is an easy-smoking and wonderfully aromatic blend that will suit a wide variety of pipe smokers, especially those new to the hobby.
